The theme for 2025 blended Annual Academic Development Symposium was 'Future-Ready Education: Enhancing Student Employability and Institutional Reputation'. The Symposium took place on Wednesday 30 April 2025. It opened with a keynote presentation from Dr Charlie Ball, Head of Labour Market Intelligence at Jisc. The keynote was followed by a range of presentations and workshops exchanging practice and ideas in a supportive and collaborative environment, and a second keynote from Nicolaas Matthijs, Chief Product Officer at Anthology. The event concluded with the recognition of Excellence in Education Awards, Principal's Teaching Excellence Award, and the presentation of prizes for the Symposium poster competition.
