A 21st century space for learning and research
The Sir Duncan Rice Library is the University of Aberdeen’s main Library. The library is located on the Old Aberdeen campus, and it is accessed from the Academic Plaza between the Fraser Noble and Meston buildings.
It houses the largest of the University's modern collections on Floors 1-7 - including Arts, Humanities, Sciences and Social Sciences, and historic collections of rare books, manuscripts and archives in the University Collections on the Lower Ground Floor.
The building is open to the wider public, as well as students and staff.
