We will be returning to the Loch Ness Marathon in 2025 and have 4 places at a reduced rate for any of our keen running fundraisers!
The Marathon is rightfully known as one of the most stunning marathons in the world. The spectacular route follows alongside the world famous Loch Ness, starting in an atmospheric moorland setting and continues through stunning Highland scenery, taking runners along the south-eastern shores of Loch Ness, across the River Ness, to finish in Inverness. It’s one not to be missed if you’re an avid marathon runner!
We have limited spaces for the marathon at a reduced rate of £40, all we ask is that you pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship of £100 to support women’s health research at the University of Aberdeen. Working closely with NHS colleagues, our team of researchers at the Aberdeen Centre for Women’s Health are on a mission to improve the lives of women across their life course. With your support, our research will have a direct impact, addressing women’s clinical needs and identifying the best ways to deliver effective and personalised care for conditions from fertility through pregnancy, childbirth, menstrual disorders, precancerous conditions to pelvic floor disorders and incontinence.
All of our runners will receive fundraising support along the way and a UoA fundraising t-shirt.
